We're seeking a highly skilled Cloud Systems Developer for a 12-month contract based in Perth, with the flexibility to consider strong remote candidates. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and enhance cloud-based applications, integrate cybersecurity requirements, and work on mission-critical systems in a DevOps environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features in cloud-based applications
- Analyse and document requirements for system enhancements
- Apply cybersecurity requirements in coordination with internal teams
- Maintain high-quality documentation and technical standards
- Collaborate closely with a delivery team to provide reliable solutions
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in cloud application development within DevOps environments
- Strong knowledge of Azure and microservice-based architectures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to solve complex technical problems independently
- Strong attention to detail and quality-driven delivery mindset
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Computer Science, IT Systems, or related field
- Experience with time-series databases (e.g., InfluxDB, ADX)
- Exposure to Kafka and stream/event-driven processing
- Development experience in TypeScript/JavaScript with .NET or Java
