IT Account Manager

Peoplebank Adelaide is seeking a driven Business Development Specialist to join the team.  If you are passionate about creating strategic partnerships and delivering exceptional service, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to the organisation’s expansion and success.

As the selected candidate, you will:

  • Develop and execute business development plans to acquire new clients and expand solutions with existing ones.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring the client views the organisation as a trusted partner.
  • Manage your own pipeline and activities to meet targeted outcomes.
  • Identify client needs and provide tailored solutions using the company’s offerings and broader services.
  • Own relationships with key accounts, implementing strategic account plans aligned with client goals.
  • Ensure service level agreements are consistently met.
  • Proactively source candidates for roles, utilise innovative sourcing strategies, and manage the end-to-end recruitment process for contract and permanent positions.
  • Build outstanding relationships with candidates, providing support in resume preparation and interview preparation.
  • Share market intelligence and actively seek new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to operational excellence by maintaining accurate records and following internal policies.
To be successful in this role you should have:
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and business development skills.
  • Experience in managing client relationships and executing strategic business plans.
  • Proven ability to manage large pools of contractors and optimise placement success.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to conduct behavioural interviews and create impactful candidate summaries.
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing and recruiting across various roles.
  • A proactive, results-driven approach with excellent organisational skills.
It is desirable if you have:
  • Experience in the recruitment or staffing industry.
  • Knowledge of market trends and the ability to leverage network connections.
  • Strong understanding of service offerings similar to Peoplebank’s solutions.
