An enterprise-scale organisation is seeking an experienced Business Architect (Enterprise Asset Management) to support a major ERP modernisation program. You’ll work with business and technology stakeholders to shape end-to-end process design, align operating models, and ensure the EAM solution delivers practical outcomes across asset and service-focused domains.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can translate strategic intent into executable business architecture, with strong stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.
Key responsibilities
- Lead business architecture activities for EAM / asset-centric processes (current state, future state, gaps, and roadmap).
- Facilitate workshops to capture business needs, pain points, and improvement opportunities.
- Define and document process models, business requirements, business rules, and supporting artefacts.
- Partner with delivery teams to ensure requirements trace through to design, build, testing, and adoption.
- Support governance and decision-making by providing clear options, impacts, and recommendations.
- Contribute to change impact assessment and readiness planning (where required).
- Strong experience in business architecture / business analysis within large, complex environments.
- Demonstrated experience across EAM / asset management domains (e.g., maintenance, work management, asset lifecycle, service delivery).
- Proven ability to negotiate, influence, and manage expectations across senior and diverse stakeholder groups.
- Excellent documentation skills (process models, requirements, executive-ready summaries).
- Experience working on ERP programs (SAP experience highly regarded), integrations, and cross-functional workstreams.
- Experience with major ERP implementations/upgrades and fit-to-standard approaches.
- Government or highly regulated environment experience.
- Exposure to testing/assurance processes and traceability (helpful in ERP programs).
