Change Analyst – Contract -   Queensland Government | Carseldine / Hybrid 50% WFH

A Queensland Government department is seeking an experienced Change Analyst to support the delivery of complex projects and change initiatives within a dynamic and highly engaged environment. This contract role will work closely with project managers and change practitioners to plan, coordinate and deliver structured communications, stakeholder engagement and change activities across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct change impact assessments across people, processes, systems and behaviours
  • Support business readiness planning, go‑live criteria and transition activities
  • Develop and maintain change artefacts including change plans, communications, stakeholder and learning materials
  • Coordinate structured communications and two‑way engagement aligned to project milestones
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, briefings and engagement activities
  • Support learning needs analysis and development of fit‑for‑purpose learning assets
  • Track and report on change activities, risks and issues
Mandatory Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Change Analyst or similar role
  • Experience supporting organisational change in project or program environments
  • Proven capability in change impact and business readiness activities
  • Experience working in government or complex organisations
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint
Desirable
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or PROSCI certification
  • Experience with large‑scale digital or ICT implementations
  • Exposure to LMS platforms and tools such as SharePoint, Visio, Adobe, Viva Engage or similar
