About the Role:
Seeking a Cisco Telephony & Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise voice and unified communications solutions. Responsibilities include BAU support, project delivery, and optimisation of Cisco Collaboration and core network environments, including Catalyst, VXLAN/EVPN, and wireless technologies, ensuring high-performance voice quality, connectivity, and network reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and support Cisco Unified Communications and VoIP environments
- Administer Cisco voice platforms, call routing, dial plans, and system upgrades
- Monitor and troubleshoot voice quality, connectivity, and network performance issues
- Maintain telephony, call flow, and core network technical documentation
- Support incident management, root cause analysis, and service improvement initiatives
- Extensive experience with Cisco Collaboration platforms, including CUCM, Unity Connection, UCCX/UCCE, and Webex Calling
- Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies, including Catalyst switching, VXLAN EVPN, and wireless infrastructure
- Proven expertise managing SIP trunks, dial plans, gateways, and enterprise voice configurations
- Familiarity with Cisco licensing models, subscription management, and collaboration migration projects
- Cisco certifications desirable, with ability to manage BAU and project priorities in enterprise environments
