About the Role:
We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join the growing Data Analytics Team. The Business Analyst has a fundamental role enabling and supporting the business to leverage BI & Analytics tools.
Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality documentation including business requirements, functional design specifications, user manuals, and business glossaries.
- Engage regularly and effectively with internal customers to build trust and strong stakeholder relationships.
- Collaborate with business units, project managers, and IT delivery teams to ensure alignment and successful solution delivery.
- Partner with the Data & Analytics Engagement Lead to strengthen stakeholder relationships and drive meaningful engagement and contribution.
- Work closely with wider IT teams to maintain positive relationships with the business.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Demos/Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Demonstrated ability in process mapping and data analysis techniques to uncover insights and optimise workflows.
- Exceptional analytical, logical, verbal, and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Solve business problems and enabling decision-making through effective use of BI tools.
- Solid understanding of testing practices and quality control principles to ensure accuracy and reliability of deliverables.
- Deep knowledge of Business Intelligence concepts, including data warehouse analysis and report development using tools such as Microsoft Power BI, SAP BusinessObjects, or similar platforms.
- Proficient to advance in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
