About the Role

Working as part of a collaborative project team, you will contribute to the design and development of a new SharePoint intranet from concept through to implementation.
You will create visually appealing and accessible digital assets, page layouts and content templates while ensuring alignment with branding standards and user needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design graphics, digital assets and user interface elements for SharePoint Modern.
  • Develop accessible and visually engaging intranet page templates.
  • Create wireframes, mock-ups, concepts and final design outputs.
  • Collaborate with project team members, content designers and stakeholders.
  • Conduct user testing and apply feedback to improve usability and visual effectiveness.
  • Ensure designs comply with accessibility standards and organisational branding requirements.
  • Optimise graphics and digital assets for web-based environments.
  • Support the delivery of a modern, user-centred intranet experience.
About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
  • Experience designing for SharePoint Modern or enterprise intranet environments.
  • Strong graphic design and digital design capability.
  • Understanding of web accessibility principles and standards.
  • Experience creating user-friendly interfaces and digital templates.
  • Proficiency with contemporary design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma or similar.
  • Experience developing wireframes, mock-ups and digital assets.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes within agreed timeframes.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing digital, web or intranet design work.
Desirable Experience
  • SharePoint Online and intranet design experience.
  • UX/UI design experience.
  • Government or large corporate environment experience.
  • Qualifications in Graphic Design, Digital Design, User Experience or a related discipline.
