About the Role
A Queensland Government agency is seeking an experienced Information Management Specialist to work on a large EDRMS Project for a 5-month contract based in Brisbane CBD. This role sits within a transformation-focused IT team and will play a key part in uplifting IM maturity across the organisation.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders to design and implement Microsoft 365-based solutions, lead document migration projects, and provide strategic advice on IM frameworks, governance, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and configure Microsoft 365 environments (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) including metadata, taxonomies, and permissions
- Lead or support document migration from legacy systems (e.g. eDOCS) to Microsoft 365
- Map metadata and ensure proper classification and tagging of content
- Develop and implement IM policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
- Engage stakeholders across the department to promote IM standards and adoption
- 5 years of experience with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) configuration and administration
- Experience with document management systems such as eDOCS and cloud-based platforms like RecordPoint
- Strong understanding of IM trends, standards, and lifecycle management
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across diverse stakeholder groups
- Experience in policy development and implementation related to IM
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Library Science, Computer Science, or related field
- ITIL or Prince2 certification
- Brisbane CBD Location
- Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week
- Proposed Start Date: 10 November 2025
- Offering flexible work arrangements (3 days onsite / 2 days WFH), it’s expected in your first 2 weeks that your onsite 100% of the time.
