Information Technology Manager
  • 6 months initial contract with potential extension
  • Lead enterprise IT, infrastructure, and security teams.
  • Drive strategy, governance, and service excellence.
 
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Information Technology Manager to lead a high-performing technology and security function within a complex and geographically distributed environment. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing technology infrastructure, network and cyber security operations, service delivery, governance, and strategic technology planning.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of IT and cyber security professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the delivery and ongoing management of enterprise technology infrastructure, network services, cloud platforms, cyber security operations, and IT service environments.
  • Drive the implementation of technology strategies, governance frameworks, policies, and operational plans to support organisational objectives.
  • Manage IT budgets, financial planning, procurement activities, vendor relationships, contracts, and service agreements to ensure value and performance outcomes.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders while ensuring technology services remain secure, resilient, compliant, and aligned with business requirements.
Skills & Experience
  • Extensive experience in a senior IT leadership role within a large, complex, and geographically dispersed organisation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in enterprise infrastructure, cloud-first environments, systems integration, network operations, and cyber security management.
  • Strong knowledge of IT governance, service management frameworks (such as ITIL), IT project delivery methodologies, and technology lifecycle management.
  • Proven ability to manage financial resources, including budgeting, forecasting, procurement, contract management, and vendor performance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and lead high-performing technical teams.
