The client:
Join a well-established WA organisation delivering essential services to the community. This organisation is investing in modern, secure and resilient technology services and is looking for a collaborative ICT leader who can build strong relationships across the business and bring the team on the journey

The role:
This is a permanent IT Manager position with responsibilities closely aligned to a CIO-style remit. You’ll lead a small but capable ICT team and provide strategic advice to the executive, while also staying close to day-to-day operations when needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead ICT strategy and align technology roadmaps to organisational priorities
  • Oversee day-to-day ICT operations: infrastructure, networks, systems, applications, telecoms and end-user computing
  • Strengthen cyber security, ICT governance, risk management, privacy and information protection practices
  • Own and maintain ICT disaster recovery planning and alignment to business continuity planning
  • Drive continuous improvement across digital platforms (e.g., website/intranet/member portals)
  • Develop performance reporting frameworks and provide executive-level reporting and insights
  • Coach and mentor leaders and team members; build a collaborative, supportive culture
Key experience:
  • Must have strong, proven leadership in a senior ICT Management role within a large OR enterprise scale environment delivering both strategic planning, financial management and IT technical operations
  • Strong technical breadth across modern ICT environments (infrastructure, cloud, systems, networks, end-user)
  • Demonstrated cyber security leadership (controls, audits, access/security governance, risk mitigation)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across executive and non-technical groups
  • Relevant IT background AND / OR certifications would be highly regarded.
