Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights? We are seeking an experienced Insights Business Analyst to join our team and play a key role in delivering business intelligence solutions for a program with multiple, parallel releases. This role follows our established insights business analysis framework and focuses on defining and documenting analytical reporting requirements in an Enterprise Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with strategic stakeholders to identify key drivers behind business intelligence needs, defining targets, KPIs, metrics, and dimensions.
- Engage with end users and subject matter experts to develop, document, validate, and endorse reporting and functional requirements for successful delivery of end-user reporting.
- Develop scenarios to support requirements verification, UAT, and training efforts.
- Work with business SMEs to define and test business and logic rules for building BI reports.
- Prepare report specifications for developers and support UAT and training, ensuring reports meet agreed standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, technology teams, and support teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a BI Business Analyst in data warehouse and/or BI environments.
- Proven ability to define and document BI requirements(including data sources, metrics, dimensions) for diverse end-user communities.
- Extensive experience facilitating Dashboard Requirement workshops with C-Level executives and senior stakeholders.
- Strong track record in documenting reporting requirements using user scenarios, critical success factors, KPIs, and RAG thresholds.
- Hands-on experience with front-end BI tools (e.g., Power BI) for designing report mock-ups and defining user experience.
- Skilled in facilitating User Acceptance Testing.
