About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Lead Service Reliability Engineer to guide a team of engineers in delivering scalable, reliable, and high-performing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a squad of Service Reliability Engineers to uphold engineering and reliability standards.
- Manage incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous service improvement.
- Align squad activities with broader technical and business goals.
- Enhance monitoring, observability, and automation frameworks.
- Champion documentation, governance, and knowledge sharing.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience with monitoring/observability tools like Dynatrace or Splunk.
- Proficient in SPL, SQL, Python, or DQL scripting.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
- Proven leadership in service reliability, site reliability, or infrastructure operations.
- Strong incident management and operational resilience capabilities.
- Ability to define and uphold engineering standards and governance frameworks.
Desirable Criteria:
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience influencing both technical and non-technical teams.
Background in large-scale enterprise or government environments.
Other Requirements:
Australian citizenship is mandatory.
