About the Role:
The role involves leading the architecture, implementation, and optimisation of VXLAN EVPN-based data centre environments, developing technical roadmaps aligned with business objectives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration. You will provide expert guidance on data centre networking standards and best practices, troubleshoot complex network issues, and drive performance improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of VXLAN EVPN solutions within the client’s network infrastructure.
- Develop architectural strategies and technical roadmaps aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices, standards, and protocols related to data centre networking.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and optimise system performance.
- Support the delivery of projects from planning through to deployment, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing VXLAN EVPN and related network solutions.
- Strong knowledge of data centre architectures, including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and security.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Relevant certifications in networking or data centre technologies (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information effectively.
- Cisco CCIE certification in Enterprise Network is highly desirable.
