Join a high-performing Risk & Compliance team supporting the management of operational risk across a large organisation. This contract role sits within the 1st Line and focuses on embedding strong risk practices while supporting ongoing business initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver risk activities aligned to the Risk Management Framework
- Lead and facilitate RCSAs, including across change initiatives
- Review risk treatments, control effectiveness, and root cause analysis
- Provide SME support to incident/events management
- Support senior risk stakeholders on key initiatives
- Promote risk awareness and uplift risk culture across the business
- Partner with 1LoA, 2LoA, and Centres of Expertise
- Proven experience in banking and financial services environments
- Background in operational risk, technology risk, or audit
- Strong understanding of risk frameworks and controls
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Able to work independently and influence outcomes
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (preferred)
- Certifications (CISA, CRISC, COBIT) advantageous
