About the Role As the Principal Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a complex enterprise-wide ICT project, ensuring outcomes are achieved within scope, budget, and schedule.
You will provide strategic leadership across project governance, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and multidisciplinary team leadership while working within a large and complex healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale digital transformation project.
  • Define project scope, objectives, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Establish and maintain effective project governance and reporting frameworks.
  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and resource planning.
  • Engage and influence executive stakeholders, governance boards, and external partners.
  • Coordinate vendors and technical delivery teams to achieve project outcomes.
  • Ensure alignment with organisational architecture, privacy, cybersecurity, and data governance requirements.
  • Mentor and lead multidisciplinary project teams.
About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale ICT or digital transformation projects and programs.
  • Strong project leadership and governance experience within complex environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Experience managing executive-level stakeholders and steering committees.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience applying formal project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent.
Highly Desirable
  • Experience within healthcare, digital health, or government environments.
  • Knowledge of digital health integration, interoperability, or clinical systems.
  • Understanding of data governance, privacy, cybersecurity, and information management frameworks.
  • Experience delivering projects involving multiple business units and complex governance structures.
