We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support delivery across a dynamic Digital, Information & Technology environment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced settings, managing multiple streams of work and driving outcomes with limited direction.
You will play a key role in maintaining delivery momentum across a portfolio of smaller projects and BAU initiatives, ensuring work is structured, visible, and progressing efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate a collection of smaller projects and delivery-focused BAU work
- Create and maintain delivery plans, schedules, and progress reporting
- Track tasks, risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple workstreams
- Facilitate team ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, retrospectives) where required
- Ensure alignment with agreed priorities and delivery outcomes
- Proactively identify and remove blockers to keep work moving
- Support resource planning and workload balancing
- Provide clear and consistent stakeholder communication and reporting
- Manage vendors and external partners, including within BAU environments
- Support quality assurance and release readiness activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement in delivery practices
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Delivery Manager within IT/Digital environments
- Strong hands-on delivery experience – you don’t just manage, you actively drive progress
- Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams or smaller initiatives
- Background in applications delivery (preferred), with exposure to:
- COTS implementations (with configuration)
- Bespoke/custom development environments
- Comfortable working across both project delivery and BAU support models
- Experience working with vendors and third parties
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft tools (e.g. MS Project, Teams, Excel)
- Government experience (local, state, or federal) is highly regarded
- A proactive self-starter who takes initiative and drives outcomes
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and incomplete information
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to quickly identify issues and navigate complex environments
- Focused on maintaining delivery momentum and accountability
