The role involves managing complex SAP landscapes, leading system migrations and upgrades, implementing integration solutions, and advising stakeholders on system performance, automation, cloud transformation, and data management strategies.
The consultant works closely with cross-functional business and technical teams to ensure SAP systems support operational efficiency, business continuity, compliance, and long-term scalability.
Key Responsibilities
Consult with business stakeholders to identify, document, and analyse ICT system requirements.
Evaluate existing SAP environments and recommend improvements aligned to organisational objectives.
Translate business needs into technical specifications and SAP infrastructure solutions.
Develop functional and technical documentation including system specifications, process models, and integration mappings.
Conduct impact analysis for upgrades, migrations, and system changes.
Manage and optimise complex SAP landscapes across:
- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP NetWeaver
- BW/4HANA
Lead SAP system migrations (including on-premise to cloud transitions).
Implement and manage high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) frameworks.
Design and implement SAP solutions within Azure Cloud environments.
Analyse infrastructure performance and recommend scalable architecture improvements.
Lead cloud migration initiatives ensuring minimal business disruption.
Advise on infrastructure optimisation, cost efficiency, and security compliance.
Lead cross-functional project teams including functional consultants, developers, infrastructure specialists, and business users.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior consultants.
Facilitate workshops to gather business requirements and validate ICT solutions.
Ensure compliance with ICT governance, risk, and security standards.
