As the SAP Functional Analyst (EPPM), you will support critical design, configuration, and integration activities across SAP S/4HANA PS/PPM. Working closely with business stakeholders, vendors, and program teams, you will ensure the delivery of scalable, efficient, and future‑focused processes aligned to proven ERP templates and best practice.
This position plays a key role in enabling improved service delivery, enhanced analytics, end‑to‑end process optimisation, and a more unified view of organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support detailed functional design and configuration work for SAP S/4HANA PS/PPM.
- Configure functional components including Portfolios, Buckets, Initiatives, Projects, and related data objects.
- Undertake thorough testing of configurations and resolve functional or integration issues.
- Ensure EPPM processes align to organisational requirements and are fit‑for‑purpose.
- Collaborate with project peers to ensure interoperability across the broader Modern ERP landscape.
- Engage effectively with business stakeholders, SMEs and vendors to support consistent project outcomes.
You will bring deep SAP expertise, strong analytical capability, and a collaborative mindset. You thrive in complex, fast‑paced program environments and are comfortable engaging across technical and business domains.
To be successful, you will have:
- Minimum one full SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation.
- At least 8 years’ experience in SAP implementation or conversion projects (ideally SAP PS & PPM).
- Highly skilled in SAP Portfolio Management and Project System.
- Demonstrated experience in an Enterprise Portfolio & Project Management function.
- Strong understanding of integration points across MM, EAM, and FICO.
- Experience with project and dependency management tools such as Jira, MS Project, or SAP CALM.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Proven ability to work effectively with virtual and cross‑functional teams.
- Strong documentation capability (reports, presentations, technical designs).
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a high‑pressure delivery environment.
- High EQ and stakeholder management skills in complex environments.
- Tertiary qualifications in IT or related discipline (highly regarded).
- SAP PP/PM Certification (highly desirable).
