We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in SAP to join our team in a public sector environment. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, analyse business processes, and support the implementation of SAP solutions. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that SAP systems are configured and optimized to meet operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with business stakeholders across various departments to elicit, document, and prioritize functional and technical data quality requirements for S/4 migration.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the data owners and the technical/data teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on data cleansing needs.
  • Collaborate with data owners to define the scope of data cleansing activities, ensuring data meets quality standards before migration into SAP systems.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of data quality dashboards and reports to track the progress of data cleansing efforts.
  • Monitor and report on data cleansing KPIs, highlighting areas that need further attention or improvement.
  • Coordinate with the testing team to ensure that the cleansed data is accurately loaded into SAP systems and validated against business requirements.
Provide regular updates to business stakeholders and the project team on data quality status and any issues that need resolution.

The  SAP Technical Business Analyst  applicant must be able to demonstrate:
  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst with a focus on data management and data cleansing.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP systems (SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ECC, SAP FICO, SAP MM, etc.), with experience in data migration or integration projects.
  • Experience working with business data owners to identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Familiarity with data cleansing tools such as InfoSteward and techniques, including data validation, transformation, and reconciliation.
  • Experience with Agile project methodologies.
  • Understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
Proficient in creating data reports, dashboards, and metrics to track progress and outcomes of data cleansing activities.
