- Manage / Create and enhance test automation frameworks
- Analyse requirements, designing, developing, enhancing and implementing maintainable Automation frameworks on assigned project
- Participate in sprint planning, technical design review, estimation and requirements elicitation workshops. Define the automation test approach and test process to support feature delivery
- Ensure that test automation framework and automation code adhere to testing best practices and coding standards
- Support continuous integration through automation
- Have proven command of various software testing methods, levels, types, and processes and where they fit in the overall system and produce development lifecycles.
Experience required:
- At least 8 years testing experience; 5 years test automation experience
- Performance testing experience using Gatling highly regarded
- Experience testing web based and client server applications
- Manage, develop, maintain & extend our Test Automation framework
- Experience with some of the below methodology and tools: Programming/Scripting Language - Java, JavaScript, Scala and CSS UI Automation Tools - Cucumber
- Business Driven Development (BDD) framework such as Cucumber
- Experience in full stack test development including database, services and user interface i.e. Java with Cucumber development background.
- Extensive API Testing experience including Rest API automation and Micro services
- Hands-on experience in Junit, Maven and/or other unit and automated testing tools
- Provide testing expertise and advise to stakeholders and other team members to develop automated testing approaches that deliver the greatest benefit and coverage, with the least amount of maintenance and support
- Proven experience in QE practices, understanding of functions in a development team, and experience working on large scale projects
- Experience in test automation design with Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, Bitbucket.
- Experience in some of the following tools: Jira, Confluence, Postman, SOAP UI, SQL, Rest, Git, Browser Stack, Sauce Labs
Nice to have
- Knowledge of API Testing using Karate
- Exposure to cloud technologies and automation
- Experience in Kafka, Mobile App Testing, Performance Testing
