Job Title: Senior Business Analyst (IDAM)
Duration: 12 Month Contract (with possibility of extension)
Location: Sydney, NSW (Hybrid 3 days onsite / 2 days WFH)
We are seeking a skilled Senior Business Analyst
with expertise in Identity and Access Management (IDAM)
to support the delivery of strategic cybersecurity initiatives.
This role will be instrumental in analysing business requirements, mapping identity processes, and supporting the implementation of identity governance, access management, and privileged access solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements for identity management.
• Support the design and implementation of IGA, Access Management (SSO/MFA), and PAM solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and define current/future state identity processes and user journeys.
• Translate requirements into functional specs, support vendor evaluation, and integration activities.
• Assist with testing, training, change management, and maintaining documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Must Have Skills/Experience:
• At least 7 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst with expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM / IDAM) supporting IT or cybersecurity projects
• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle, authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID), and MFA/SSO technologies
• Experience with projects delivering MFA/SSO, IGA and PAM
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills -
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
