We’re seeking NV1-Cleared Senior Network Engineer
to join a leading IT service organisation supporting Federal Government client/projects.
Responsibilities
• This role is critical in designing, implementing, and supporting robust network solutions across enterprise and carrier-grade environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in networking, routing, and security, with a strong focus on large-scale infrastructure and advanced protocols.
Skills & Experience
• Solid Network Engineering Experience
• Complex solutioning LAN/WAN design and concepts
• Large scale Installation/Implementation of Switches and Routers and their configuration
• Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS), STP, LACP, QoS, BFD, Virtual Routing instances and Routing policies
• Implement Firewalls and Security policies
• Design and deployment of SDWAN
• Network gateway experience is advantageous
• Carrier Grade platform IP MPLS/BGP based networks to provide Layer 2 and 3 services
• Experience writing engineering designs and documentation is mandatory
Clearance and Credentials
• Must be an Australian Citizen with an active NV1 security clearance (or higher)
Rate:
Attractive daily rates OR salary packages
Location:
Canberra or Sydney (Hybrid Work / on-site 3–4 days per week)
Engagement:
Initial 12-month contracts with likely extensions
