The role:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with extensive C development to work on some exciting Greenfields mine site production projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement high performance production grade systems in C
- Collaborate with project stakeholders including the AI/ data team
- Simulation and systems modelling in production
- Develop systems to support real-time operational decision making
- Translate mathematical, statistical and ML models into production code
Key skills:
- Extensive software development experience using C (in real time/ production environments)
- Background in simulation and systems programming
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
- Relevant tertiary education / certifications
- Experience with AI AND/ OR Machine learning
- Previous experience working in the mining, utilities OR a heavy industry sector is desirable
