Skills & Experience Required
- Design and develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support business requirements.
- Lead and document solution architecture and design, including formal presentations to governance bodies.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering team growth.
- Engage proactively with stakeholders to refine and document business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to assess feasibility and drive innovation.
- Experience with API integrations (RESTful, SOAP, HTTP, Web Services).
- Proficiency in Groovy or Java scripting.
- Familiarity with Amanda (highly desirable but not essential).
- Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, or SVN, including repository management, branching strategies, and conducting code reviews.
