Infrastructure, Security and Networks Solution Architect
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and govern end‑to‑end technical solutions across a range of complex initiatives. In this role, you will ensure business requirements are translated into secure, resilient and supportable technical designs that align with enterprise and domain architecture standards.
Working closely with Project Managers, Domain Architects, engineers, operational teams and vendors, you will develop high‑quality architecture artefacts and guide projects from concept through to delivery, transition and operational handover. You will contribute to solution options, technical designs, non‑functional requirements, TCO estimates and assurance documentation.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop end‑to‑end solution designs, conceptual and logical architectures
• Produce technical design documentation and project‑level NFRs
• Provide architectural input into business cases and assurance reviews
• Work with infrastructure, network and security teams to ensure solutions are practical, secure and supportable
• Engage stakeholders across technical and non‑technical groups to socialise and validate designs
• Support transition and handover to operational teams
About You
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect delivering complex technology initiatives
• Strong background across infrastructure, cloud, networking and cyber security
• Ability to translate business needs into technical designs
• Experience working within enterprise architecture frameworks and governance processes
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience in large, complex environments (public sector experience desirable)
Requirements
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or equivalent experience
• Ability to meet security and background check requirements
