About the Role We are seeking a hands-on Solution Architect to design and deliver integrated, scalable, and secure technology solutions across a complex enterprise environment.
This role will work across core business platforms including Payroll, HR, ERP, and operational systems such as engineering, quality, and manufacturing, supporting large-scale transformation initiatives in a highly regulated environment.
You will play a key role in shaping solution design, driving system integration, and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver end-to-end solution architectures aligned with business and technical requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Lead solution design, feasibility analysis, and business case development
- Drive integration across ERP, cloud platforms, and operational systems
- Work closely with development teams to validate solutions and deliver proof of concepts
- Define current-state and future-state architectures, including roadmaps and lifecycle planning
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and performance standards
- Provide guidance and mentoring to developers on architecture best practices
- Support governance processes, including architecture reviews and compliance
You are a practical, delivery-focused architect who combines strong technical depth with the ability to engage stakeholders and drive outcomes.
Key Skills & Experience
- 5–7 years’ experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Architect
- Strong experience with ERP platforms (SAP or Oracle) across Finance, HR, or Supply Chain
- Proven experience designing integrated enterprise solutions
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, M365)
- Strong understanding of system integration (APIs, middleware, enterprise systems)
- Experience working in complex, regulated environments (e.g. defence, manufacturing, government)
- Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance frameworks
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience within aerospace, defence, or manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or enterprise service management platforms
- Exposure to DevOps or Agile delivery environments
- Relevant certifications (e.g. TOGAF, AWS, Azure)
