As the SAP Solution Architect, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering enterprise digital solutions that support critical business functions and strategic transformation initiatives.
Working closely with stakeholders, project teams, and technical specialists, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into robust technical solutions while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements.
- Design end-to-end SAP and digital solutions aligned to enterprise architecture standards.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across multiple projects.
- Design, build, test, and deploy solutions within the SAP ecosystem.
- Develop scalable, secure, resilient, and supportable solution architectures.
- Design and oversee integrations across SAP and non-SAP platforms using APIs and modern integration technologies.
- Provide expert advice on solution costings, privacy requirements, security controls, and operational considerations.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, data specialists, and project teams to deliver successful outcomes.
- Contribute to technical governance, development standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support knowledge transfer and capability uplift across internal teams.
- Maintain architecture artefacts and technical documentation.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, SAP Architect, Technical Architect, or SAP Technical Lead.
- Strong experience across SAP S/4HANA and broader SAP technologies.
- Experience with SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Fiori and related modern SAP technologies.
- Strong understanding of SAP architecture, cloud platforms, integrations, APIs, and enterprise applications.
- Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale digital solutions.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, DevOps principles, and version control tools such as Git.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- The ability to work autonomously while managing competing priorities.
- Experience within large and complex enterprise environments.
- Experience with SAP RISE programs.
- SAPUI5, Fiori, SAP Build, or application development experience.
- Enterprise content management and archiving experience (e.g. OpenText).
- Experience within government, healthcare, utilities, or other highly regulated industries.
- Relevant SAP certifications.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
