• Focus: Need experience with performance testing of banking jobs both Batch, streaming and APIs.
We’re seeking a skilled Streaming and API Performance Tester
to support the testing of banking jobs across Batch, streaming, and APIs. With Financial Services domain experience (payments, core banking, risk/regulatory or similar).
Key Responsibilities:
• As a Performance Tester, you will be responsible for completing performance testing for Streaming and API Data pipeline-oriented jobs.
• Your day-to-day activities will include performing continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite, developing automated scripts, and supporting data and environment configuration.
• You will participate in code reviews, monitor, and report defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.
• You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, make team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions while providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Intermediate proficiency in Performance Testing is required.
• Intermediate proficiency in System Defect Management, along with beginner proficiency in Confluent Event Streaming Platform and REST API Testing, is recommended.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Utilize data analytics to identify trends and improve testing processes.
• Engage in proactive communication with stakeholders to align testing efforts with project goals.
Required Skills:
• Hands-on performance testing of banking jobs across Batch, streaming, and APIs (recent, production-grade)
• Financial Services domain experience (payments, core banking, risk/regulatory or similar)
• Tooling: JMeter/Gatling/k6/NeoLoad/LoadRunner (any mix), plus scripting (Python/Shell/SQL) for data setup
• Observability & analytics: Grafana/Prometheus, Splunk/ELK, and one APM (Dynatrace/AppDynamics/New Relic)
• Solid defect management and stakeholder communication
