Our client is seeking an experienced Level 2 IT Support Technician for a hands-on mine-site support role. This position is Darwin-based, with travel to site included as part of the roster.
Roster / location
- 14 days on site / 7 days off
- 10-hour days: 6:00am–4:00pm
- Bus travel from Darwin to site (~2–3 hours)
- Accommodation meals travel provided while on site
- On-site role (not WFH)
This is an on-the-tools support role focused on resolving issues and completing hands-on tasks including:
- Device rebuilds and end-user troubleshooting
- Hardware support and swaps (laptops/desktops/peripherals)
- Basic server restarts and checks
- Assisting with network troubleshooting
- Active Directory account management
- SharePoint access / folder permissions
- User access provisioning and deactivation
- Strong generalist IT support background with proven troubleshooting capability
- Comfortable working in a site environment and following processes/instructions from remote teams
- Working knowledge of basic networking, AD, and general systems support
- No highly specialised certifications required (ITIL exposure is beneficial)
