About the Role:
This will predominantly be project work, so ability to work with project teams & architects would be valuable. Other BAU requests as needed will be assigned
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrade project, including planning, deployment, and end-user transition support.
- Contributed to AppLocker rollout initiatives, implementing application control policies to enhance security posture.
- Support cybersecurity enhancement projects, focusing on device compliance, endpoint hardening, and policy enforcement.
- Understand Group Policy, including creation, management, and troubleshooting of GPOs.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience with on-premises endpoint management using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, including software deployment, patching, and device lifecycle management. SCCM.
- Good working knowledge of AppLocker, including rule creation, policy design, and integration with Group Policy for application whitelisting.
- Delivered a modern endpoint management transition project from Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager to Microsoft Intune, supporting cloud-first device management strategy.
- Planned and executed device migration from on-premises management to cloud-based MDM, ensuring minimal disruption to end users.
